Twin Sister Peaks, page 2
Climb Notes
The trail does not use trail blazes, but is still easy to follow. The path is well worn.
The path can be very crowded.
For a seasoned, fit hiker, the Twin Sisters Trail is rated as moderate. The switchbacks and traverses help tame the climb.
For those not acclimated or fit, the trail will be a challenge.
Any mountain is more difficult in inclement weather.
Carry the essentials (ten or more) and understand that your safety is your responsibility.
There are no restrooms on the hike.
There are no reliable water sources.
The views from the summit are amazing.
We have often seen wildlife along the upper slopes.
The trail makes a great trail run, but please yield to the hikers.
Pets are not allowed on the trail.
Stay on the trail. The numerous switchbacks are tempting to shortcut; but staying on the trail lessens the hikers impact.
