Ganier Ridge, page 2
Trail Notes
Ganier Ridge Trail begins and ends from the Lake Trail. The two points are .40 miles apart.
The trail must be accessed by first hiking other trails.
The south section of the trail is in great shape. The north section needs some trail work. A trail has developed to the side of the constructed path as it descends from the ridge.
From the north end of the ridge, you can see Nashville (in the winter). I would have rather seen something more natural, but the view surprised me.
The Ganier Memorial is on the north end of the ridge and located on the west side of the trail.
There was a "no running" sign on top of the ridge. A subtle reminder of the rules for those wanting to move faster.
