Name of Path or Greenway, page 2
Trail Notes:
We walked the road just following an epic rain storm. There was plenty of evidence as to the force of the storm.
The Main Entrance (at the end of Belle Meade Blvd) has a water fountain but no other facilities. This is the only source of water on the entire route. You need to carry water with you or do without.
There is a porti-potty along the road at Deep Well.
There are a few benches along the route.
It takes a while to learn where all the trails and paths that cross the road go. Study the map.
The roadway is shared by vehicles, bicycles, runners, and walkers.
For bicyclist, some of the hills are fast and curvy. Too bad the pavement is deterioating. Be careful.
The roadway is for one way traffic only.
There are mile markers along the path.
The Five-Eight route is blazed on the mileage posts as orange.
